I agree that the eyes give you a closer look into who a person really is! Bella definitely did NOT get her eyes from me but she is lucky! SHe has the big beautiful eyes with long eyelashes where mine are small and thin lashes! Anyway, here are a few pics!
Ok, so Im a day late!hehe My bestfriend has been in the hospital but now she seems to be doing ok and should be out by Monday. Anyway, for today's theme its Easter Memories and I had to scan some pics in I had taken of Bella when she was a baby! She was approx 7-8 mths old in these! Weird, that it seems like just yesterday, yet my girl is now almost 6 yrs old!
I am not sure you would call ours Spring Fever...more like DREADING SUMMER! The weather here in Tomball is perfect right now....highs in the 70's but come May we will be in the 90's!UGHHHH Of course with our spring comes a yellow haze on everything outside! The pollen is horrible and my silver SUV looks more yellowish!lol Regardless, these are pics of Bella I took just this past Sunday!
Todays FFF is One year ago today! I was actually surprised when I went back in my photos and actually had some from the 5th of March! It appears that one year ago today we had just redecorated Bella's room to a "big girl" room!
It was definitely warmer here last year as well! Today it dropped down to to the 40's which is cold for us Houstonians!!!lol Its amazing how much our kiddos change in just one short year! Time flies by way too quick!
Yesterday was my little girls first Gymnastics Skills Meet! She did such an awesome job and I couldnt be more proud of her! When I was a kid I always wanted to do gymnastics but unfortunately I was always overweight as a child. Bella did Ballet when she was 3 yrs old close to 4 yrs old. She decided after the summer break she didnt want to do it any longer! I couldnt honestly blame her since she was still at the age of only being able to do ballet and tap. She couldnt do any of the fun dancing like Jazz and such. She decided then she would do cheerleading so we tried that for awhile and again, she wasnt too interested! I kept insisting she try gymnastics and she didnt want to so finally one day I picked her up from school and told her we were going to gymnastics and she would try one class! If she still hated it she never had to come back! Needless to say that was back in Oct/Nov (cant remember exactly) and she still absolutely loves it! It amazes me what she can already do in such a short period of time and even though another mom and I discussed in a few more mths our girls would be giving us heart failure on some of the things they teach, right now we are having a blast! The pics below are from the skills meet and she ended with 4 ribbons and a medal!
My name is Kelli and I am a single mom of one! I work full time, take online classes full time and am a mother full time! It makes for a busy life but one I would not trade for the world! I love my daughter more than life itself. I am also a Christian by faith and even though I dont attend church regularly, I do believe my life is led by faith!
